What I like about Ouai hair gloss

Ouai Hair Gloss is exactly what my dull hair needed. This has dramatically improved the shine and vibrancy of my hair, giving it that glass look that all celebrities seem to have. Styling my hair was also easier than ever. I achieved smoother, frizz-free results with fewer passes of my blow dryer brush without compromising volume. My hair was also softer, especially at the ends; it went from a rough, straw-like texture to a silky texture almost immediately. I highly recommend using it strategically right before a big party or event to give your hair that extra oomph.

Another thing I love about this hair gloss is its divine scent. The brand is known for its high quality, perfume-like scents, but this one made my shower smell luxurious. How to use Ouai hair gloss

Hair Gloss is best used after shampooing. Note: A small amount goes a long way. As shown, I divided my hair into four sections, separating my bottom layers from the top and the left side of my head from the right side. You should wring out your hair to remove any excess water before applying a pea-sized amount of product from the mid-shaft to the ends. (I focused on the bottom of my hair because it needed a little more love.) While it’s tempting to soak your hair in the product, the brand strongly warns against doing so because it can weigh down your hair. Once it’s evenly distributed, let it sit for about five minutes to work its magic, then rinse it off. If you have fine hair or an oily scalp, you may prefer to avoid your traditional conditioner, but if your hair is thick, curly, or frizzy, you can complete your hair washing routine as usual.

After showering, you can also apply a leave-in conditioner if hair needs an extra boost of moisture or to detangle. You can use it while you air dry your hair, but to really see that mirror-like shine, it’s best to heat style.

What to Consider Before Trying Ouai Lip Gloss

The Ouai Hair Gloss is a treatment for damaged hair, whether from styling or excessive heat coloring, and is meant to complement your existing routine. It is not designed to completely replace your traditional conditioners, hair masks or heat protectants. It’s also worth pointing out that you can overuse the product, so it’s best to assess your hair’s needs and use accordingly. The effects last for up to three washes, so consider this a treatment you can do every two weeks or every month, depending on how often you wash your hair.

If you like to use the brand’s Detox Shampoo, it is recommended to combine the Detox Shampoo with the Hair Gloss so that the former does not prematurely remove the effects of the gloss.
